2) Do you take requests or wish lists?
A - I am always happy to take a collectors want list. I use these lists to pull cards from my inventory to list on
my website. For example if I know a collector who visits my site loves yellow birds, I'll notice every yellow bird
card I see as I'm sorting cards and will pull them out. Eventually they make their way to my website.
3) Why don't you have as many cards on eBay as you used to sell?
A - eBay has raised their prices every year and not just by a small amount. And on top of that, they have
made it harder for collectors to find particular card through search. I've decided to spend my time listing
cards on my website instead. You don't have to bid and wait and you get better prices.
4) Do you buy postcards?
A - At the present time, I do not buy postcard collections.
5) Do you offer any guarantees on your postcards?
A - Your satisfaction is guaranteed. I make every effort to note any flaws in each card's description.
Still sometimes a person can miss something. If there is ever a reason you don't like a card you buy,
just let me know.
6) Can I use an image of a postcard from your site?
A - If you want to use an image from my site, all my cards are for sale. Once you own the card, you can copy it all
you want, within the constraints of copyright law.
7) Can I link to your "Brief History of Postcards" or other articles such as your webletter?
A - You may link to or copy my articles if you give proper credit to Shiloh Postcards,
Vickie Prater, and the url www.shilohpostcards.com
8) How do I find cards on your website?
A - I've tried to list cards in easy to navigate categories.
There is also a search engine that will search my database for you.
9) What methods of payment do you take?
A - I have my website set up to take credit cards through either Google Checkout or Paypal,
and I also take checks/money-orders in U.S .dollars drawn against U.S. banks.
For those paying buy check/money-order, payment must be received within 7 days unless
you make other arrangements with me.
10) What are your shipping options?
A - Generally I give two shipping options. The lowest priced one is for First Class mail and is non-insured.
The higher priced option is for priority mail and this is insured. Please note that if you elect to take
the non-insured method, any loss by the post office is your responsibility. This is the only way I can fairly
keep prices low for everyone.
11) What if I have trouble with your shopping cart?
A - If you have any problems with my website or my shopping cart, please let me know.
I will do my best to either remedy the problem or to find and easy work around for you.
12) Do you have a retail location we can visit?
A - Sorry but no I don't. We rent a warehouse where we store our cards and supplies and
I do my internet work from my house. However, if you are ever in the NE Georgia Mountains,
come to downtown Clayton and stop in our book store: Prater's Main Street Books. We'd love to say hello.
13) Do you sell internationally?
A - Yes, we ship cards to almost anywhere in the world. I've clients on every continent.
